Almond Cookies
The Ingredients:
80g Caster Sugar
80g Butter
65g Finely Chopped Sliced Almonds
1tsp Almond Extract
2 Egg Whites
50g NEILL’S® Plain Flour
The How-To:
Preheat oven to 180c
Cream the butter and sugar together until smooth
Stir in the almond extract, followed by the finely chopped almonds and flour.
Stir together until all ingredients are combined.
In a seperate bowl whisk the egg whites until they form soft peaks.
Fold the egg whites into the flour mixture.
Place tablespoons of this mixture onto baking sheets and bake in the centre of the oven for 14-15 mins. You’ll be able to make about 13-15 cookies with this recipe.
Remove from the oven for allow to completely cool.
