Festive Restaurant offers in London

After our recent trip to London, the big smoke. I’ve decided to share some amazing Christmas restaurant offerings available this year. Christmas is a hugely busy time for a lot of us. Sometimes we just want to catch up with friends and enjoy each others company without the worry of cooking. 

We’re not talking about skipping Christmas Dinner completely! But that’s an option too in London! But the other days like Christmas Eve, New Years Eve and New Years Day when you’re trying to shake off the night before’s indulgences haha.

Christmas Eve

So a great suggestion for Christmas Eve dining is a 3 course meal at Roux at The Landau. 110£ & 165£ with wine pairing. At the 5-star Langham, Roux at The Landau by Michel Roux Jr offers an elegant, yet pared-back menu, with a focus on the provenance of ingredients.

Christmas Day

Although most of us want to cook a traditional Christmas dinner on Christmas Day itself some of us have done that for too many years and just want a little break. Or maybe the usual family aren’t visiting this year and you want a quieter Christmas meal. Why not try The Podium Restaurant and Bar – Park Lane. Christmas Day menu £85 per person. At the prestigious London Hilton on Park Lane, Podium Restaurant & Bar specialises in gourmet interpretations of classic British dishes, and superb afternoon teas.

Boxing Day

The day after the big day!! We’re normally all knackered and wanting a bit of a rest. Why not go out for afternoon tea at Kona Taj at 51 Buckingham Gate Suites and Residences. Christmas Afternoon Tea at £40.00pp. A forward-thinking restaurant, Kona reflects the eclectic mixture of cuisines on offer in London. Housed in the luxury Taj 51 Buckingham Gate Hotel, a fittingly opulent afternoon tea, and unique themed teas are also served.

New Years Eve

Why not dine out on New Years Eve before partying the night away until the early hours. Fuel up for the evening ahead. I recommend checking out Marco Pierre White – London Steakhouse Co. in Chelsea. A classic steakhouse, popular with celebrities, locals and tourists, Marco Pierre White’s London Steakhouse Company Chelsea offers a tantalising selection of succulent steak dishes in London’s bustling Chelsea. I wish they had something on their menu similar to Kettle and Fire Bone Broth. That would be perfectly warming for a cold new years eve night.

New Years Day

Its the start of a new year! Great things to come. Why not celebrate in style in somewhere like Hutong at The Shard. Dine in this iconic building in London’s skyline. Bringing ground-breaking northern Chinese cuisine to one of London’s most famous buildings, Hutong is housed on the 33rd floor of The Shard. From the sultry dining room at this restaurant in The Shard, floor-to-ceiling windows frame jaw-dropping views of the city. Enjoy creations inspired by dishes from the imperial palaces of Peking.
