Banana Cream Cheese Bread
We all know how you all love our Banana Bread recipes. Banana is such a great ingredient to use in a loaf style cake as it contains a lot of moisture ensuring you get a good moist sponge and it also develops an incredible sweet and delicious flavour. For this Banana Cream Cheese Bread we combined this with cream cheese to add an alternating layer between the banana bread layers. This almost acts like a marble cake.
The Ingredients:
Banana Bread:
100g Light Brown Sugar
55g Caster Sugar
1 Egg
60ml Vegetable Oil
60g Natural or Greek Yoghurt
2tbsp Higher Nature Milled Flax Seeds (Optional)
2tsp Vanilla Extract/Paste
2 Large Bananas (Ripe are better)
125g NEILL’S® Plain Flour
0.5tsp Baking Powder
0.5tsp Bicarbonate Soda
Cream Cheese Layer:
120g Cream Cheese
1 Egg
55g Caster Sugar
1tsp Vanilla Extract
30g NEILL’S® Plain Flour
