Orwell and Goode Competition

We are huge fans of Orwell and Goode. Mrs Orwell (Zuzana) and Mrs Goode (Bronagh) met in 2008 when Mrs Orwell taught Mrs Goode how to silk screen print. They became great friends and while on holiday in Ireland together late 2010, they had the idea for ‘Orwell and Goode’. Liking how it sounded like “all well and good”!
With only a few months to create everything they launched at their first trade show in April 2011, Orwell and Goode has grown from strength to strength ever since. But there has been a little more to the story they had been keeping a secret for the first two years of business, Mrs. Goode was also in the Royal Air Force working as a mechanical engineer on Tornado aircraft in Lossiemouth, Moray . Both ladies were working the business every spare hour they had. During these first difficult 2yrs, Mrs.Orwell had her first baby and Mrs.Goode served a 4mth tour in Afghanistan (overlapping the birth of little Hamish!).

One winner will be selected at random from all correct entries received. Anonymous entries will be exempt from the competition. The winner will be announced within 7 days of the closing date. The prize consists of : 1 x Fox Pouffe (RRP £115) as detailed above, supplied directly from Orwell and Goode. There is no cash alternative. This competition is open to UK and Ireland residents only. The winner has 2 weeks from when they receive the acknowledgement email to supply their contact details or the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be chosen. Delivery will be within 28 days of BakingBar receiving the winner’s address. Any details collected by competition entry are kept private and not shared with any third parties except where entrant have consented to subscribing to both BakingBar and Orwell and Goode newsletters, where name and email information is shared only with Orwell and Goode and BakingBar.
